- Launch a ticker
/launch names a ticker, picks fees or volume and up to ten DefiLlama parts, and previews 90 days scored like the set, with missing days counted. A launch writes the definition once with its SHA-256 and an OpenTimestamps proof, three a day per address, the name shown after review. Each launched index gets a page at /launch/{ticker} with its line, the definition digest and the proof. The first launch is $BOTS: fees across Axiom, GMGN, Maestro, Photon and Trojan.

- The Wikipedia indexes leave the set; $YESNO joins it
$GOON, $SINGLE and $TILT read Wikipedia pageviews, which settle nothing and move with page loads. They leave the set; their history stays and their pages redirect to /x. $YESNO takes $TILT's place: dollars traded per day on Kalshi and Polymarket, from DefiLlama's open API.
- 2026-10-01 #564
- The Fat Cat Index at /dogez
What the exchanges hold in Dogecoin, read from the chain hourly: 25 labelled exchange wallets, 180 days of daily history rebuilt from each wallet's flows, the most wanted, and a paw check that reads a pasted address and returns a card to post. A 90 day line on each most wanted card followed in #565. In #568 the page joined the footer, the sitemap and llms.txt, titled Dogecoin on Exchanges: The Fat Cat Index.
- 2026-10-01 #563
- Ready for agents
Agents get Markdown answers and Markdown 404s, every API route answers errors in the RFC 9457 problem format, /api/v1 is the stable name of the current API, responses carry RateLimit headers, an API catalog lists the routes, llms.txt says when to use Tickerz, and /contact is a page.
- 2026-10-01 #560
- On-chain, and the proof
Reader copy says on-chain and the proof. The homepage Close band and the /x dateline link the day's Bitcoin proof and its EAS attestation on Base.
- 2026-09-30 #542
- The stock volume bias is gone
After a week of scoring stocks against the same point in the session, the median stock volume z is +0.00 over 6,840 readings from September 23 to 29, against -0.98 the week before. Recorded in the integrity note.
- 2026-09-30 #536
- The record is append only in the database
A resolved receipt, and an event's asset, open time and open price, can no longer change in the database, and neither events nor receipts can lose a row. It was a promise before. Now the database enforces it.
- 2026-09-29 #529
- Index Machina: every agent payment, live
/machines is a live scene: a treemap of the services agents paid today, each payment a dot flying from its payer to the service it paid, 45 seconds behind the chain, with a replay of the last hour at 60 times speed. tickerz.com/dots opens it.

- /machines: the machine economy from the chain
Paid gigs with their range, the machine wage, dollars paid and payers; paid gigs per hour; the newest agent payments live from Base; who earns and who spends; what machines buy. Names come from Coinbase's public directory, refreshed daily.
- 2026-09-29 #523
- $GIGS and $WAGE
Two indexes for what AI agents are paid for. $GIGS counts paid calls between agents and the services they pay per UTC day, from settled x402 payments on Base, with its 95% range. $WAGE is the payer-balanced median price of a paid call. 14 days backfilled.
- 2026-09-29 #512
- Agents can read the indexes
The MCP server gets list_indices and get_index, serving the same index payload as the public API.
- 2026-09-29 #508
- A signed reading on every index
Each index reading carries z beside its score: the period's own count against its baseline's median, in robust standard deviations, signed, one decimal. $LAYOFFS in a low week reads -1.1 instead of Quiet. The Activity score does not change. /api/indices carries z, and the methodology says so.
- 2026-09-29 #507
- The free API serves Tickerz's readings
/api/board, /api/asset and the MCP board and asset tools no longer carry the data vendor's price, 24h volume, market cap, price spark or derivatives context. Scores, the board's own score spark, the move, the volume multiple, events, receipts and venues stay. The site and share cards still show prices.
- 2026-09-25 #477
- One tap into every assistant
/connect lists one row per assistant with the most direct action that works and the thing to paste; the homepage links four of them. An Arena handle gets a secret key with its first forecast that stands, so the handle keeps working from any address.
- 2026-09-25 #472
- One way to say what Tickerz is
Every page states the company the same way: Tickerz turns fringe data into indexes, and the Terminal is the second surface. About went from 486 words to 296; the site description, search data, the /x headline, llms.txt and the MCP discovery file match it.
- 2026-09-25 #466
- The brand on every surface
Icons are the bone mark on deep plum. Every share card and the link preview moved to ink, bone and a plum stepped line, with new cards for X posts. Emails take the new design on paper, so mail apps do not invert them.
- 2026-09-25 #465
- Ink and plum on every page
Every route wears the new design: one nav and footer, an ink ground, bone text, plum stepped lines with no fill on every chart, index hues as small chips, green and red only on direction triangles. The remaining pages moved onto the same page kit the same day in #470, #471, #474 and #475, and the footer went from 20 links to 11.
- 2026-09-25 #463
- The redesigned home, index pages and Arena
The redesign went live on the homepage, every /x/{ticker} page and /arena. The full asset table moved to /terminal.
- 2026-09-24 #453
- Tickerz Daily on the Close
Tickerz Daily is rebuilt on the Close: the newest Close, the Terminal line, events opened, receipts landed beside BTC or SPY, a research line when there is new research, the proof, one button. The subject leads with the same index as the Close post. Same list, send time and sender.
- 2026-09-24 #437
- Charts in motion
Index and asset pages share one chart: columns rise once when the chart comes into view, the big number above follows the scrub, ranges switch in place, and live sources refresh every 60 seconds while the tab is visible. Mouse, touch and arrow keys all scrub. A hidden table carries every value for screen readers, and reduced motion shows the final frame.
- 2026-09-24 #430
- Resolution
/resolution states the service in two sentences and shows the first case: a Polymarket market and a Kalshi market that read the same leaderboard page two hours apart on September 30 2026. The reading rule, version 1, went on-chain with OpenTimestamps on September 24 before either market resolved; its proof confirmed in Bitcoin block 968,364 (#443). Every index page carries a Resolution section a venue can paste into a rulebook (#413).
- 2026-09-24 #425
- Pricing, trust, and pages for AI assistants
/pricing and /trust are live. The index pages are in search and the sitemap. llms.txt is rewritten, with a dated fact sheet, an MCP discovery file and an agent guide.
- 2026-09-24 #424
- $RATS removed
$RATS left the set: out of the registry, the Close, the Arena and the API. Its pages redirect to /x. Its history is kept.
- 2026-09-24 #414
- $MINTS
New coins created on the pump.fun program per UTC day, counted by Tickerz from the Solana chain, with graduations as a second line. No vendor dataset in the path. Finalized transactions only, each counted on the UTC day of its block time. 30 days backfilled from the chain.
- 2026-09-24 #412
- The homepage leads with the Index
Everything gets a ticker. The homepage opens on the field of columns, one per scored ticker, then the Close leader and the Terminal leader, the index rows with the period each reads, the twelve most unusual assets, every asset, and the receipts.
- 2026-09-23 #411
- The Arena
People and agents forecast the next reading of every index that takes calls, under a public handle, graded on the first print: 100 points times max(0, 1 minus the error over 25%). Standings start at three graded forecasts. Forecasts stay hidden until close. Pages at /arena and /arena/{question}, an Arena section on every ticker page, GET /api/arena, POST /api/arena/forecast, and the MCP tools arena and submit_forecast.
- 2026-09-23 #403
- The Tickerz Index and the Close
Eight tickers for what people do, from public data, scored against their own normal at /x. $LAYOFFS reads the Department of Labor's weekly claims file on a weekly cadence; $TRENCHES adds up thirteen launchpads' daily fees from DefiLlama. See only for deaths and violent crime. A Pro and Predict waitlist with referral links, ticker requests with counts only, and the daily Tickerz Close. The AI race ticker took the name $MODELS the same day (#404).
- 2026-09-23 #396
- A simpler Terminal
The hero states what Tickerz is in one line over a live count strip. One asset template (score, VOLUME, MOVE, EVENT, then a WHY card) on the homepage and the asset page. Explanations moved to /methodology and questions left the top nav. Visible words fell about 40% on the homepage and asset pages, 52% on /receipts and 65% on /evidence.
- 2026-09-23 #394
- One question per crypto event
Each crypto event gets one question: will it read 40 or more 24 hours after open. The question is stamped with OpenTimestamps when written. Anyone answers in the first 4 hours on /questions, the asset page or MCP; the split stays hidden until answers close. Tickerz answers with the base rate and is graded against a persistence baseline and an always-under baseline. No prizes, no money.
- 2026-09-23 #389
- The site says what runs
Methodology, docs, llms.txt, the OpenAPI document and the MCP descriptions now match the code and the record: the machine tier closed for now, 30-day receipts with a benchmark, stamping at open for new events since 20:30 UTC on September 22, and the one finding that holds. The changelog calls a closed event closed: score_events kind is closed, and the deprecated heat_events keeps resolved until at least 2026-12-31.
- 2026-09-23 #388
- Readings are screened before they are stored
Two runs of volume readings from our data source were wrong by several orders of magnitude: ETH on September 15 from 16:15 to 18:30 UTC, and a hidden asset on September 6. No event opened. The readings are removed from the stored history and kept in a rejects log. A reading with an impossible volume, or one far outside the asset's own history, is now held back before it is stored or scored.
- 2026-09-22 #382
- The API says score
The API, the MCP server and the changelog JSON serve score, score_1h, scores_30d, peak_score and score_events. The heat fields stay as deprecated aliases with the same values until at least 2026-12-31.
- 2026-09-22 #380
- One ticker, one asset
The wider universe added two tokens that share a ticker with a stock, MetaDAO as META and GreenHood as HOOD, and those pages returned an error. A ticker now resolves to the stock, and a token that shares a stock's ticker is kept off the Terminal.
- 2026-09-22 #379
- Where it trades
Each asset page lists the venues that carry it, as plain links grouped by spot, perpetuals, futures and prediction markets, checked every night against each venue's own product list. Venues whose terms exclude US persons are labeled. Tickerz is not paid for any link.
- 2026-09-22 #378
- Stocks: no base rate yet
Stocks get base rates only from a study measured against SPY. No free source of daily bars qualified, so the study has not run and stocks show no base rate. The research page says so.
- 2026-09-22 #377
- Why it moved, with a source
The driver line reads news from around the event's open instead of whenever the job ran, adds SEC filings for stocks, and tags listings and futures launches directly from the headline that reports them. When nothing qualifies it says Driver: not identified.
- 2026-09-22 #376
- The record checks itself
A nightly audit recomputes every published research figure, checks the live pages against the data files, and opens an issue when they disagree. It found two lines of copy that broke the house rules and they were fixed.
- 2026-09-22 #375
- Measured volume, and breadth
Volume is N times normal is now measured: the last 24 hours against the asset's own 30-day average. It was an estimate before, and it overstated most assets. The Terminal now says how many scored coins are unusual right now.
- 2026-09-22 #373
- Stocks scored against the same point in the day
A stock's volume builds from the opening bell, but it was compared with full-day volume, so every stock looked quiet in the morning. Each stock is now compared with its own volume at the same point in earlier sessions. Earlier stock scores were biased low before midday; they are not rewritten.
- 2026-09-22 #372
- Faster, and room to grow
The Terminal's main query went from about a second to about 20 milliseconds, asset pages are served from cache, and share cards refresh every few minutes instead of once a year. Readings older than 45 days will be thinned to one an hour from September 29, with the rest archived.
- 2026-09-22 #371
- Less shipped to your browser
The homepage sends 111 KB of JavaScript instead of 241 KB. A data source that was only reachable by routing around a regional block was removed, and scheduled jobs that had never produced anything were switched off.
- 2026-09-22 #370
- Correction: Attention fades rerun on the live formula
The study used a different formula from the live score. It now runs the live one, and every interval resamples whole dates. Lone upside spikes lagged BTC by a median of 5.2% over 7 days, 3.1 points worse than an ordinary day. The claim that downside spikes recover is withdrawn: its largest group rested on one date, October 10 2025. Base rates are matched on breadth and withhold any group that is small, dominated by one date, or level with an ordinary day.
- 2026-09-22 #369
- Called before the outcome
Every new event is now stamped with OpenTimestamps within about an hour of opening, then anchored to a Bitcoin block, so the record proves a call existed before its outcome. Events that opened before this change were stamped over the following nine hours, and each receipt shows how long after open its stamp came. Receipts carry the benchmark's return over the same window, and the published opening score is the score that opened the event; the old field held the peak.
- 2026-09-22 #366
- What usually happened next
On an unusual day, a coin's page shows what happened after moves of the same kind since 2022: the median return against Bitcoin over the next day, week and month, next to an ordinary day. The same answer is available to agents through the MCP server and the API.
- 2026-09-22 #365
- Attention fades
The research behind the finding is published at /research/attention-fades: attention spikes on 175 coins since 2022, measured against Bitcoin and against an ordinary day, every number reproducible from the published scripts.
- 2026-09-22 #362
- Evidence
A new page, /evidence, measures every event against its market over the same window and against an ordinary day, and reports it whichever way it comes out. After an event, coins have lagged BTC over the following week. Evidence is in the nav.
- 2026-09-22 #352
- Assets as cards
The dense asset table became a grid of cards: symbol, Activity score, a 24-hour activity sparkline, price and 24h move. Search, class tabs and sorting stay.
- 2026-09-22 #323
- Activity score
The score is called the Activity score, 0 to 100, on every page, in llms.txt, in the API and MCP descriptions and on share cards.
- 2026-09-17 #278
- Receipt clocks watched
A lag check every 30 minutes, an hourly resolve backup, and a status line for receipts past due.
- 2026-09-17 #277
- Security headers
HSTS with subdomains and preload, cross-origin opener policy, a baseline content security policy.
- 2026-09-17 #274
- Canonical URLs, robots, sitemap and structured data
Each page carries its own canonical and share URL, uppercase symbols redirect, robots keeps token endpoints out, the sitemap lists every page, the dataset is described in JSON-LD.
- 2026-09-17 #273
- Stale rows read as stale
A row whose feed stopped shows STALE with its date, leaves the Now strip and the distribution, and the asset page prints the late-feed line with the real age.
- 2026-09-17 #272
- Accessibility pass
Skip link, landmarks and headings on every page, badge contrast on the dark steps, keyboard reach on the charts and the search.
- 2026-09-17 #271
- Accent rationed
Lime marks the active nav item, the score at 70 and above, event state and one action per page. Body links are bone with a hairline underline. Chips and badges are pills.
- 2026-09-17 #270
- Confirm and unsubscribe links work
Every confirm and unsubscribe link the daily email issued was rejected because addresses contain dots. Links verify, one-click unsubscribe answers mail providers, signups are throttled.
- 2026-09-17 #269
- One vocabulary on every surface
The retired score name and 'board' leave every page, llms.txt and the OpenAPI document; identifiers and API keys are unchanged.
- 2026-09-17 #267
- A 404 page on the ink field
Unknown URLs and unknown symbols render the not-found page with the Nav and a link back to the Terminal.
- 2026-09-17 #266
- Receipt proofs confirm on Bitcoin again
Every proof had sat at pending: the stored bytes were double encoded and the block height was never read. Proofs now upgrade on the hourly run and /status reports any proof without a height after 24 hours.
- 2026-09-17 #259
- Homepage chart: every asset as one sorted column
Every scored asset as a column on a fixed 0 to 100 scale, a dashed line at 70 where events open, hover for the reading, band chips filter the table.
- 2026-09-16 #239
- The September 16 system
It is the Terminal, not the board. The score got a public name, since renamed the Activity score (#323). Schibsted Grotesk and Fragment Mono replace Inter and Space Mono. A distribution above the table, an interactive asset chart, a receipts histogram, a connect page for the MCP server, the tape retired, share cards on the new type.
- 2026-09-10 #64
- Receipt clocks: next tick and a lag alert
Receipts resolve on the first Terminal tick at or after each horizon. A health alert fires when a receipt runs more than one crypto tick late.
- 2026-09-10 #52
- Board v2: an orientation band
An orientation band at the top of the homepage, and the score shown as a named index on the board.
